Poppy Coated Cotton for Children
Coated cotton is a versatile fabric with a water-repellent finish. Verhees Textiles offers a cheerful variety of coated cotton fabrics featuring colourful children’s prints. This fabric retains the breathability of cotton while also repelling water and dirt. Many of the prints are inspired by nature, such as flowers and leaves, while others feature abstract or graphic designs, which can even be combined.

Cotton is well-known for its breathability and ability to absorb moisture. Unlike regular cotton, coated cotton does not absorb moisture – instead, it repels it thanks to a special coating. The base fabric is made of cotton, which ensures breathability. The acrylic coating makes it water- and dirt-repellent. This allows you to easily wipe off any moisture or dirt with a damp cloth.

Applications for Coated Cotton
This fabric is suitable for a wide variety of items, including tablecloths, aprons, bags, backpacks and (rain)coats. Thanks to the water-repellent finish, it offers protection against rain and dirt, making it ideal for outdoor use. Like standard cotton, it is easy to work with and machine washable at 30 degrees.
