We process your personal data to carry out our services. You privacy is very important to us and we will handle your personal data confidentially and carefully. Personal data are processed in accordance with the legal provisions as prescribed by the General Data Protection Regulation (also known as GDPR). We would like to inform you further about this in this privacy statement.

This privacy statement provides information about the processing of personal data by or on behalf of Verhees Textiles and only applies to the use of personal data of its customers and visitors to the website.

How do we collect personal data?

Verhees Textiles can receive information from you in the following ways:

• Directly from you: for example if you enter into an agreement with us, contact us by email, phone or in writing, place an order in our webshop, register for activities or subscribe to our newsletter.
• Via our own website: for such purposes as performing, improving and registering our services, we collect various data via our website and webshop, including through the use of cookies.
• Via third parties: we can use the services of third parties such as agents. These third parties then act on behalf of Verhees Textiles. This privacy statement also applies to the data collected through these third parties when they act as a processor for Verhees Textiles. We are not responsible for the collection of data that is not commissioned by Verhees Textiles. In this regard, we refer you to the privacy policy of these third parties.

Which personal data are processed?

Verhees Textiles can process your personal data, because you use the services of Verhees Textiles, and/or because you provide these to Verhees Textiles when filling out a contact form on the website. Verhees Textiles can process the following personal data:

• Contact and account details, including name, address, phone number, email address, company details, personal preferences and login details that you provide.
• Payment and invoice data If you provide this information to us yourself, for example in writing or by email, we may store it.
• Website data - such as IP address, traffic and location data and information about the use of our website, webshop, customer card and digital newsletters.
• Data that you submit when you apply to us, such as your CV, cover letters and related information.

For what purposes do we collect your personal data?

Verhees Textiles uses acquired personal data in the first instance to implement the agreement that we conclude with the customer in the context of offering products and services via our website, webshop and physical shop and for internal administration. More specifically, we ask you to share your personal data with us for the following purposes:

• For entering into, maintaining and improving the contractual relationship with its (potential) customers, or for improving services and products.
• For applying and implementing legal obligations.
• For making analyses regarding purchasing and visiting behaviour to the website, webshop and our physical shops and comparing these with other (similar) shops with which we cooperate actively or passively.
• To provide you with personal promotions, offers, tips and information by email and/or post.
• To provide purchase-related information such as manuals, usage tips, information, proof of purchase and related products.

As soon as we know your details, you automatically agree to receive our newsletter. Verhees Textiles can send newsletters by email. If you no longer wish to receive a newsletter, you can use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the newsletter.

Personal data are not used for purposes other than those described above.

Verhees Textiles does not store your data for longer than necessary for the implementation of the agreements and in any case no longer than 24 months after the agreement has been terminated, unless this is necessary to comply with a legal obligation to retain.

Terminating an agreement in this case means cancelling a customer card or unsubscribing from a newsletter. If you wish to have your data completely removed, you can submit a request for this (see below).

What are your rights?

You must ensure that Verhees Textiles has the correct personal data. Via the email address sales@verheestextiles.com you can submit a written objection to the use of certain data by Verhees Textiles or ask to inspect, correct and/or delete your (personal) data. Upon written request, any corrections communicated by you will be processed.Verhees Textiles will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but in any case within four weeks.

Complaints about the use of personal data can be directed to Verhees Textiles or to the legally authorised institution in our country.

Verhees Textiles takes the protection of personal data very seriously and takes appropriate physical, administrative, organisational and technical measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised changes.
