What is Double Gauze?

 Double Gauze, also known as Muslin or hydrophilic fabric, is a popular fabric quality that actually needs no introduction. With its two loosely woven layers, Double Gauze offers a remarkably soft feel and an airy drape. In plain weave, the fabric is loosely woven with lightly twisted yarns, resulting in the characteristic wrinkles that define the fabric. Made of 100% cotton, it provides breathability and excellent moisture absorption, ideal for both baby and children's clothing. The Oeko-Tex Class 1 certification can be found on every plain cotton Double Gauze fabric. Fabrics with the Oeko-Tex Class 1 certification meet the highest requirements for product safety and have been tested for harmful substances. This makes the fabrics safe for use for babies and children. This certification was issued by Centexbel with certification number 1501004.

In addition to the Oeko-Tex certification, we have 70+ colours of Double Gauze that are certified with GOTS by Control Union (1010800). This international label guarantees the use of organic cotton and environmentally friendly and socially responsible production of the product.
