Verhees Textiles supports the "Thuis in Oss" Foundation.

At Verhees Textiles, we take pride not only in offering high-quality fabrics but also in supporting charitable initiatives. Recently, we generously donated several meters of fabric and two high-quality new sewing machines to the "Thuis in Oss" Foundation. This foundation provides essential support and accommodation for refugees in the community of Oss. In collaboration with Rijkers Naaimachines, we aim to make a positive contribution to the well-being of the residents and help them develop new skills through this donation.

The sewing machines will be used during sewing courses initiated by the residents themselves and supported by numerous volunteers. These courses provide refugees with the opportunity to discover their creative talents, acquire new skills, and develop a sense of appreciation. As part of this initiative, the refugees have specifically sewn scrunchies and scarves for our customers. These unique accessories are crafted with love and care during the sewing courses, where the residents have been able to further develop their skills.

We take pride in creating a positive and inspiring environment where residents can explore their full potential. With this donation, our intention is not only to provide practical support but also to send a message of solidarity and compassion to those in greatest need of our help. We firmly believe that everyone has the right to unfold their talents and build a better future, regardless of the circumstances they find themselves in. The collaboration with the "Thuis in Oss" Foundation is a wonderful example of how businesses and the local community can support each other.
