100% Linen Fabrics with European Flax™ Certification

At Verhees Textiles, we proudly present our exclusive range of linen fabrics with the prestigious European Flax™ certification. This certification guarantees the origin and quality of the flax, which is sourced from Europe. Using European flax means we rely on the expertise of centuries-old traditions in flax production, combined with modern innovations that make the material unique and non-delocalizable. This certification reflects not only our commitment to the highest quality but also our dedication to sustainability. Our certified fabrics are made from high-quality, natural materials that also offer lasting durability.

About European Flax™

European Flax™ is the guarantee of traceability for premium quality Flax fibres grown in Western Europe for all end uses. A plant fibre, produced through integrated crop management farming, without irrigation thanks to natural rainfall (barring exceptional circumstances), and without genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Every part of the plant is utilized (fibre, shives, seeds, dust), resulting in a zero-waste 100% mechanical fibre extraction. By using this premium flax, we produce fabrics that contribute to a virtuous textile industry, while also supporting local European farmers and the local know-how.

Benefits of European Flax™

• Unique functional properties: Flax fibers are, breathable, and moisture-absorbing, ideal for any season.
• Unique environmental properties: Flax grows with natural rainfall, minimal pesticides, and no waste. Every part of the flax plant is used.
